A warm tea bag is a home remedy that many people use to reduce acne redness. It will leave behind a residue when you move the tea bag. Just let the residue stay on your face for awhile. When you wash your face, the redness should become lighter.

Acne redness if not treated should vanish after some time but if it doesn’t, then it will be much longer lasting. This is because of scarring. You may need to see your dermatologist to recommend medical treatments.
